Anti Spam

Blings.io Anti-Spam Policy

Effective Date: May 14, 2025

 

1. Purpose

Blings.io is a video hosting and delivery platform—it does not send marketing messages. We enable clients to host and distribute branded video campaigns, but do not send emails ourselves.

2. Zero-Tolerance on Spam

Clients or third parties may not use Blings.io services to send unsolicited or non-consensual messages (“spam”). Any violations result in immediate suspension or termination of access, in line with industry standards  .

3. Definitions

  • Unsolicited: Emails sent without explicit recipient consent.

  • Bulk: Messages sent to multiple recipients with substantially similar content.

  • Spam: Any unsolicited messaging via email, SMS, or mobile channels  .

4. Prohibited Behaviors

Clients must not:

  • Send to purchased, rented, scraped, or otherwise unauthorized lists 

  • Contact unsubscribed recipients

  • Obfuscate unsubscribe links

  • Misrepresent sender identity or use deceptive headers 

  • Use techniques like “snowshoeing,” affiliate bulk sends, or evade spam filters 

  • Harvest emails or violate privacy regulations

5. Message Requirements

All client messages must:

  • Be sent only to opt-in recipients

  • Bear valid “From” information with accurate branding

  • Include an unsubscribe mechanism processed within 10 business days

  • Avoid deceptive content or subject lines 

  • Comply with relevant laws: CAN‑SPAM (US), GDPR (EU), CASL (Canada) 

6. Authentication Best Practices

Clients must implement: SPF, DKIM, and DMARC on sending domains. Dedicated sending domains and tracking domains are strongly recommended for reputation control  .

7. Monitoring & Enforcement

  • Certification: Clients affirm compliance on onboarding.

  • Ongoing monitoring: We track performance and spam complaints to detect misuse  .

  • Enforcement: Violations result in suspension or termination. We may also report illegal activity to authorities.

8. Acceptable Use

Clients must not use our platform to:

  • Facilitate illegal actions, hate, harassment, or discrimination 

  • Send obscene or fraudulent content

  • Target minors under 13 (under 16 in EEA) 

  • Promote restricted goods: gambling, high-risk finance, illicit substances, MLM, or affiliate-only offers 

9. Abuse Reporting

Suspected policy violations can be reported to: abuse@blings.io. We will investigate within 3 business days.

10. Platform Role

Blings.io solely hosts videos and provides links. Branding, messaging, delivery, and recipient list control reside fully with clients.
